BoND2: B6G Non-Cellular Technologies for Extremely Dynamic 3D networks

The Universidade de Vigo leads BoND’s subproject on highly mobile three-dimensional networks: adaptive connectivity, resource allocation and distributed services beyond 6G.

Research Lines

Subproject objectives and tasks defined in the BoND proposal.

Connectivity in 3D networks

Predict available access nodes and routes in multihop aerial networks. Design algorithms that preserve service as topology, links and operating bands change.

Distributed computing

Develop a lightweight dataflow platform. Jointly optimise virtual-network placement, computing resources and task allocation across mobile nodes.

Security and trust

Study lightweight mechanisms for reliable management, node cooperation and blockchain, accounting for communication, storage and energy constraints.

Integrated artificial intelligence

Combine learning models and intent-based management to adapt network configuration and distributed service execution with less manual intervention.
